The doctor told me, about my platlet count, lol, told him i had a lot of people told me i needed to find all this stuff out..he just grinned...the platlet count should b at least 140..and this Wednesday mine was 104, he said we could work with that, its anything under 100 that is not good....Some of u had mentioned to ask him what could i do to help keep the count up, and he said their wasnt anything i can do that, that was for him to worry about...
My next blood work is the 12th with the chemo scheduled for the 24th of Feb...after that treatment, he will get the ct-scan to make sure it is helping and how much it has, so far..
They are all extremely nice to me...lol, they did lol at me when i was falling asleep in the treatment chair...think they were worried about me on the drive home...i asked them what they gave me to try to knock me out....i was sooo sleepy when i got home Wednesday that i had to go to bed, and very tired...but otherwise ok...think these sickie pills kinda make me sleepy too...

ReplyDeleteYou would be struggling to take as many naps as Mistress does, she is hardly ever awake.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate what your doctor says to you, but nevertheless, if you ask a question he should not fob you off. It would be courteous of him to explain what makes the count go up and down.
But maybe we can find out for you elsewhere ..... Hope the 12th went ok for you :)
