I have started breaking out in itchy bumps and blisters, esp on my legs and tummy...the dr gave me some cream and the antibotics for it...He is not sure what it is from...
Years ago, I use to have mild migraines...and for some reason now, it seems i have started it again...It starts out 1st like i am having a panic attack, with a mild headache...then i have a light in my eyes..it starts out small and gets huge...I cant really see the computer or the tv, and i also get sick to my tummy..also very very dizzy....I usually have to go to bed until the lights subside...I will have to tell my dr about this, mayb he knows what is causing it...or can give me something that will stop it..
After this coming treatment, i will have another ct-scan...He said something about if its better i might just to have to have the avastin..Not sure for how long...I cant remember if i told u about the avastin or not, but it stops the blood flow to the tumors...I will know more after the ct-scan..
Rocky and Bear are fine..I have been getting some surprises in the mail...Thank you so much...I hope to get a picture of it soon...and of my cranes...I havent gotten them all on the dowell yet, lol, there is a lot of them..I will try to update this a little more often and the pups blog...I thinks i got a bad case of lazyitis...
Thanks again for all the gifts and for ur continuing love u have shown me...This treatment is very hard to do, but i know i have friends all over the world pulling for me...and standing beside me...Thanks....Until next time:::::
peace and love,
claudette
You are a very brave woman and we are all still pulling for you. Hang in there, sorry about the migraines, we know how awful they can be. Keep us updated on how things are going.

So glad to know you are taking this in stride. Stay strong and have courage. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteOh Claudette - you are amazing. Wish we lived closer - would come and see you with Sammie in tow. Horrible about the migranes - you are an intrepid soul and we're thinking of you and sending a zillion golden vibes (from Sammie).

Paws crossed here for you!
ReplyDeleteMigraines are nasty! I hope your Dr can give you something "to get rid of them"!
Take care

Claudette..My Dr.s told me that these last few treatments are like the end of a marathon (or in my case, a half a marathon!) You have to focus on the END, and run through the pain.
ReplyDeleteWell, that never worked for me! I am probably the worst patient they ever had! I cried, I bitched, I think I barfed on every nurse and aide and most of the volunteers. But I finally made it.
I admire you so much for the bravery and wit you are showing us, and hope and pray for the best outcome for you.
Remember, whatever works for you. Tell your DR. or his nurse EVERYTHING that you do, and if it is too much, hold your little hand in the air and say "STOP! I am taking a week off!" Be good to yourself. Remember, it is not a successful treatment if the cancer is conquered but you are dead.

I hate to hear that you aren't feeling the greatest. You're always on my mind, and I'm sending lots of AireZEN over (deafness doesn't reduce power of the AireZEN, don't worry!)

Migraines are the worst. I am so sad to hear that you have sickies from your get better medicine.

Claudette, I know that chemo is very, very hard to get through, but you CAN make it! You are very brave and the doctors and nurses as well as all of your cyber-pals will get you through it! Take care of yourself, rest as much as you can and tell the doctors EVERYTHING that you feel in your body...even if you have to take a written list with you!
ReplyDeleteAire-hugs,
Lana
Dearest Claudette,
ReplyDeleteMommy prayers everyday for you and she says if I can be half as brave as you, I will be fine. Got my stitches out today. They was very itchy so I know how you must feel. Monday I go to the oncologist to see if I have to have chemo or what happens next.
We love you and Rocky so very much.
God Bless...Mona & Mommy

Hi Lacy,
ReplyDeleteThis is my second try at posting a comment.
I really want to thank you for following me and Bao -- trouble is, I'm a relatively old person (born before TV was invented) and every time they "improve" computer technology, it gets a little bit harder for me. I still haven't figured out how to reply to comments that don't have an email address. I tried once -- it didn't work. But I do want to tell you how much we appreciate your comments, and interest. Bao sends you a wet kiss.
