Update finally!!

I am still here, i had to have bloodwork on the 12th....now my cell count is low...next treatment is the 24th...but i dont feel good...amazing how the low cell count works...i have been fighting the cold or flu or something for a few days now....Finally called the dr and he called drugs in for me, it is very important i am not sick next wednesday...I have always been very hot blooded...and now i am soooo cold..always freezing...I go to bed just to get warm...

I did get to go to my "look good feel good" meeting Monday...met 4 other women in some kind of cancer treatment...one had just had her biopsy for breast cancer, one started her chemo on Tuesday, and one had almost finished her's...not sure about the 4th one...but she had a head of hair....the ladies that held it were very very nice..we all laughed and had fun with makeup...we got to pick out hats and stuff, and learned a cool way to make a t-shirt into a hat....Learned how to fix my kerchiefs that Linda sent me too...the gave us a make-up kit worth 300.00....i laughed told them i wasnt to much into make-up, never have been, but i did look quite good when i got it all on...

My personality is kinda changing...usually i am cool, but now whew i can get pissed...seems like going back to when i drank to much and got mouthy...its not all the time, just in certain times...and i c spots in front of my eyes...shiny big spots...not like a migraine...this is shiny and in the very middle and it divides and changes...and i had been having headaches...esp for three days, for the last 2 days, not to bad...will have to ask the dr about that next week...

Update, grrr, the antibotics are not doing to good...still feel bad...if i dont soon start to feel better, will prolly have to reschedule the 24th treatment...

Thanks to everyone for my hats, books, candies, good smelling stuff, plants, and everything else u have sent..and thanks for the "thinking of u" cards...Debi, thanks for sending Rocky his toy and treats...every package i opened he was here right beside me...he tried to steal my hats, and the yummies...when i opened urs, he grabbed that toy and was gone...least now he is leaving my beautiful hats alone...

Treatment day #2!!!!

I guess i needed to update the chemo thing...lol, keep forgetting u are all not in facebook...my chemo for the 27th of jan was cancelled, low blood platlets again...lol i got to the chair ready for the IV and it was cancelled..it was re-scheduled for the Feb the 3...and i had the treatment...For some reason, the sickies and the poops to much starts that Friday..(today)... they gave me some new pills for the sickies...so it hasnt been to bad today and the poops to much hasnt been bad at all...mayb because i had a lot of gas yesterday, lol i was doing some good burping and farting..i woulda made some of the pups proud...

The doctor told me, about my platlet count, lol, told him i had a lot of people told me i needed to find all this stuff out..he just grinned...the platlet count should b at least 140..and this Wednesday mine was 104, he said we could work with that, its anything under 100 that is not good....Some of u had mentioned to ask him what could i do to help keep the count up, and he said their wasnt anything i can do that, that was for him to worry about...

My next blood work is the 12th with the chemo scheduled for the 24th of Feb...after that treatment, he will get the ct-scan to make sure it is helping and how much it has, so far..

They are all extremely nice to me...lol, they did lol at me when i was falling asleep in the treatment chair...think they were worried about me on the drive home...i asked them what they gave me to try to knock me out....i was sooo sleepy when i got home Wednesday that i had to go to bed, and very tired...but otherwise ok...think these sickie pills kinda make me sleepy too...
